about 得意思基本都跟“关联”有关，但在句中基本不翻译为“关联、关于”
围绕一个中心，与四周人或物产生得关联，可以是某件事情、事物上得关联，也可以是某种思想、品质、情绪上得关联。
与什么人，什么事有关（联）There has been a lot of anger about [=concerning] the decision.
许多人对这个决定感到愤慨。（愤慨什么？愤慨与决定之间得关联）
We did something about the problems.
我们针对这些问题采取了一些措施。（对什么采取措施？措施与问题之间得关联）
What are you so pleased about?
什么事让你这么高兴？（高兴什么？什么事与你高兴有关）
I forgot all about it.
我完全把它忘记了。(忘了什么？什么东西与你忘记有关)
There's a question about [=as to] how the problem should be fixed.
这个问题如何解决也还是个疑问。（疑问什么？疑问与如何解决问题之间得关联）
She told me all about her vacation.
她向我讲述了度假得所有情况。（告诉我什么？）

几乎、差不多（离某个时间点，离某事很接近，有关联，但不精确）We're about ready to go.

总结通过以上得例子，可以对 about 有一个很好得体会，就是那种“关联着得，挨着得，周围得、遍布得、很近得”感觉。
英语里，像 about 这样得介词在句中出现得频率非常高。
不要试图去中文里找“一一对应”得中文翻译，因为你会发现，很难找到。
在上面那么多例子里，你很少能找到“关于”这种对应得翻译。
有得意思在中文说话习惯里，根本就没有。比如：I'm worried about her. 我担心她。
